What is the Monetary Policy Competition?The Monetary Policy Competition is an academic event where students apply economic concepts to real-world scenarios. Participants analyze economic data, propose monetary policy solutions, and present their recommendations to a panel of judges.

Who can participate?The competition is open to secondary school students from grades 7-12. Participants can register as a team (minimum 3 members, maximum 4 members) and do not need to represent a specific school. All teams must be pre-registered before the deadline to compete.

Do I need prior knowledge of monetary policy to join?No prior expertise is required, but a basic understanding of economic principles and monetary policy tools (such as interest rates, inflation control, and reserve requirements) will be helpful. Participants are expected to prepare their presentation ahead of time based on the provided competition scenario.

How do I register for the competition?Teams must fill out the Registration Form on our website. The team leader will receive a confirmation email upon successful registration. Registration closes on March 31st.

Can I register as an individual, or do I need a team?Individual registrations are not allowed. This is a team-based competition, and each team must consist of 3-4 members.
